Lelaki Tua Berasmara Dengan Haiwan

AA elderly person with three obscene records was sentenced to six years in prison by the Sessions Court today for having physical intercourse with an animal. Judge Nurul Mardhiah Mohammed Redza handed down 60-year-old Shaari Hasan (pix). The man initially pleaded not guilty but changed his guilty plea when the case was filed today.

The man was also ordered to receive a year’s probation by the police and counselling after serving a year in prison. He was accused of sodomizing a goat behind a house in Kampung Sungai Buaya, Rawang at 1:33 pm on July 27 this year under Article 377 of the Criminal Code.

If convicted, the crime is punishable by up to 20 years of imprisonment and a fine or flogging. Before the sentence was pronounced, Deputy Public Prosecutor Khairunnisa Noor Harun told the court when questioned by the judge that the goat had died of lung failure. During the remission, Muizzudin Schanni Feizal Maurice Feizal, the lawyer representing Shaari, said that his client who lived alone felt regret.
