3 Million People Were Ordered To Undergo Screening Tests

Beijing: Nearly 13 million people in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou were ordered to undergo tests for Covid-19 on Wednesday after being diagnosed with an infection because China was trying to eradicate the virus ahead of the Winter Olympics. 

The AFP said the residents were restricted by partial movement and had to undergo tests to determine their overall health, authorities said in a statement.

Zhengzhou has recorded 11 cases in the last few days. A large court order was issued as the number of cases in Xian City dropped to its lowest level in a few weeks, as confirmed by officials who already have the situation under control.
